About Us
Our Story
Suncoast Apartments is a family owned vacation property that was started in the 1980’s by local couple – Ornon and Gwen Whittaker. Well travelled themselves, the couple wanted to offer visitors a friendly and comfortable island experience – the same type of stay that they offered to their friends who visited the island.
As such, the motto “Suncoast host’s friends, not just Tourists” was applied to the property.
The Whittaker family takes great pride in continuing the legacy of their parents. The property is now managed and maintained by the couple’s adult children – Winsome, Clyde and Mackie. Who provide spacious, comfortable, well equipped apartments that are your perfect ‘home base’ for exploring all that Cayman has to offer.
From Suncoast you can explore, tour, swim, snorkel, kayak, cave, hike, sight see, soak up the sun, lay out, and eat in.
